can reveal to us how wonders never cease. This web site is an example of one of those wonders. You see, I am NOT, a computer guy. But we'll get to that in just a few. First.... Allow me to tell you how this all came to be.
I have, for as long as I can remember, been drawn to the wisdom of great thinkers and the knowledge they have shared with us through the ages with what are now their famous quotes. A positive motivational quote that is born out of that wisdom will inspire us because it says what we know instinctively to be true. How many of us have heard a famous quote or leadership quote and thought to ourselves.... WOW, that's so right. They express, in almost poetic form, the core values we know but just can't communicate as eloquently. So, famous quotes are great, right? Then came the second part of this puzzle that sparked the flame that is now this site.
It was a day not long before Christmas, a couple of short years back, when I walked by my desk in the house. There on the corner was my unopened, unmoved, unread for several days, Bible. It became crystal clear that if I was going to be the person God had in mind for me to be, the words in my Bible were going to have to inspire me daily. What's more, I had others, a wife and seven children (yes, I said seven) who needed me to be an example in both attitude and actions. Well, that hinge point in my life grew into ideas which grew into actions which grew into this site.
The whole purpose of Gods-Inspirational-World.com can be boiled down to attacking one challenge that is all to common for most of us. That challenge being the same one I had on that December day when I caught a glimpse of my unopened Bible there
on the corner of my desk and went, "Ugh"!
The well respected Christian pollster,
George Barna of the Barna Group,
puts numbers to the challenge in a survey he conducted over several years. His conclusion simply states that %60 of us, who attend church on a regular basis, don't open ourselves up to God's word outside of the church walls. My objective, through this site, is to put positive motivational quotes and "Bible" inspirational quotes in front of all of us in a beautiful, inspiring, fun way. That includes famous quotes for you, your spouse, your friends, and maybe most important of all your kids.
It's not difficult, people. Take two babies. Surround one with a positive, loving enviroment full of attitudes of wisdom. Place the other in just the opposite enviroment, and which will grow to be the kind of person we all should be?
