Imagine you aren't wealthy, well known, powerful, or particularly well educated. Now, imagine that you are asked, with just a handful of your friends who are ordinary just like you, to successfully start what will become the greatest movement mankind has ever seen. Not start a business, a community group or charitable organization. No, not a professional ball team, political party or university, but the GREATEST movement mankind has ever seen. That's exactly what the disciples were commissioned to do by Jesus before he ascended into heaven to be with the Father. What tremendous enthusiasm they must have had for the challenge at hand.

Without enthusiasm, nothing of any great worth can be accomplished. Of course, the disciples had an even greater source of energy and power contained in the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit you and I have to call on each day to help us concquer the challenges before us.
Look back at where the disciples began with the whole world in front of them, and a task more important than any ever given. They must have woken each day with an enthusiasm beyond measure and the charge on their lips.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations." - Matthew 28:19 If they could do what they did with the Holy Spirit and great enthusiasm, what might you and I be able to do today, and the rest of our days, with the same?
