You open a card from a friend with motivational thoughts for the day and a personal hand written note that lifts your spirit. We all know that feeling we get from opening our mailbox (the actual mail box) and finding a hand addressed card from a friend. You first experienced it as a child when hearing "you've got mail", (again, actual mail), caused such a rush. It still is a rush. Maybe it's because you can open it and hold it.
